Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica

The Public Broadcasting Corporation Act (1997) repealed the Jamaica Broadcasting Act and established the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica (PBCJ) in April 2006, a statutory body which is responsible for providing public broadcasting services.

Access

Access to the collection is regulated according to established and stated policies such as the Jamaica Copyright Act (1993) and the Public Broadcasting Corporation Act (1997).

All requests for audiovisual material should be sent directly to the PBCJ which owns the intellectual property in the material or has the authority to release copies to the public.
